About Me
I think it was the statistics course that did it.
It was a soul-destroying kind of boring, and it completely dissuaded me from pursuing my childhood dream of a career in veterinary science. That’s how bad it was!
But as luck would have it, one morning an email landed in my inbox advertising a photography workshop and I changed course forever. I never considered it to be a job. I've had a camera in my hand since around 11 years old. I saved every bit of pocket money until I could buy my own camera, and honestly, I’ve barely put it down since. Back then, my only willing subject was my loyal dog, Anzac.
I started Tails of Time Pet Photography, and it's still here to this day.
Looking back, those first photos weren’t exactly masterpieces, but they still make me smile — small, imperfect glimpses of a moment in time I can never get back. And that’s what I love most about photography: its ability to hold onto the fleeting.
Over the years, I’ve upgraded my gear and honed my craft. But what’s truly evolved is my heart for the work — since the birth of my son, I've gained a new appreciation that these moments, especially those early days with your brand-new baby, are priceless.
My purpose now is simple: to preserve those hazy, love-filled, blink-and-you’ll-miss-them newborn moments. The stretch of tiny fingers, the sleepy sighs, the way your world suddenly feels both smaller and infinitely bigger all at once. It's something you can't describe until you've experienced it yourself.
Because one day, when the chaos of parenthood has taken over and that tiny baby isn’t so tiny anymore, these photographs will bring you right back to the start — to the warmth, the wonder, and the love that began it all. It is my mission to capture the love, the sunshine and this whole new adventure of yours- the adventure of a life with little ones.
