An in-home newborn session gently captures your baby’s earliest days in the place you’re most comfortable: your own home. There’s no rush, no pressure, and no need for perfect posing. Instead, I’ll document the natural moments — the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms, the tiny fingers and toes, and the connection that fills your home in these first precious weeks.
Sessions are best held within the first two weeks after birth, when your baby is still brand-new and sleepy, but you’ve had a moment to settle in.
I travel across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and throughout South-East Queensland, bringing everything needed for a relaxed, natural session that focuses on what matters most — your love and connection as a family.
We specialise in lifestyle photography over posed newborn images. Whether it’s quiet cuddles on the couch, feeding moments, your furry friends or a little sibling proudly meeting their new baby, these photographs become a timeless reminder of your family’s beginning.
You don’t need to tidy, plan, or stress — I work around your baby’s rhythm, allowing plenty of breaks for feeds and changes. It’s calm, real, and full of heart.

Gabrielle Meade Photography is a full service photographer specialising in archival grade artwork. I only take on a few clients each month to ensure I am available for your session.
This secures your session date and covers the photographers time and travel around South-East Queensland.

* Additional $50 travel fee for sessions on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Toowoomba areas
When to book and when to shoot?
The best time for newborn photos is within the first two weeks after birth, ideally between day 5 and day 14.
During this window, you've had time to settle at home, but babies are typically sleepier, curl up naturally, and still have that fresh newborn look that changes so quickly.
However, as I focus on natural lifestyle type shots, these really can take place any time at all — when you’ve had a chance to settle in at home and you want to capture connection and cuddles rather than extra sleepy scrunches.
To make sure we can fit you in during this special time, it’s best to book your session while you’re still pregnant, using your due date as a guide. Once baby arrives, we’ll confirm the exact date based on how you and your little one are doing.
