If you’ve followed me for a while, you might know me best as the face behind Tails of Time — where I’ve spent years capturing the love, sunshine, and adventure of a life filled with fur as one of Brisbane’s specialist pet photographers.

But lately, life has led me somewhere new. A little slower. A little softer. Just as full of love.

The Transformation of Motherhood

Becoming a mother completely changed how I see the world — and my photography. Those early days of bringing a baby home are indescribable. The quiet wonder, the gentle chaos, and the way time seems to both stand still and disappear all at once.

As much as I tried to soak in every detail — the tiny fingers, sleepy sighs, and new-baby scent — I realised how quickly those moments fade. I packed away his 00000 onesies, then the 0000, and then the 000... We only get this version of them once (and mums, why is packing these away so hard?!)

That’s what inspired Gabrielle Meade Photography — a space devoted to capturing the fleeting beauty of newborns, Fresh 48 sessions, and family life across Brisbane and South-East Queensland.

My approach is simple: no props, no forced posing, no pressure. Just natural, connection-filled storytelling. It’s about the way your baby curls into you, the look you share with your partner when you think no one’s watching, the giggles, the snuggles, and the quiet moments that matter most.
